Black Phoenix Trading Post Hair Gloss Review

I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for this long (i.e. more than three hours) without mentioning my love for Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab perfume oils. I’ve been collecting them since 2009, but focusing on them never left me enough discretionary cash for their sister site, Black Phoenix Trading Post. But during their Halloween update last year, I finally got to try one of their hair glosses and absolutely loved it. I was really excited to get more, as they had some exclusive scents for New York Comic Con, but I was working there as a crew member and unfortunately when I was finally free to explore the con off-duty, both of them had already sold out. I may or may not have outwardly cried. For hours. ahem. But here is the one I bought last year, Lightning Storm!

Vivid flashes of dazzling electricity: white mint, white tea, white ginger, a jolt of yuzu, and electric green lime!

Review: Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask

IT’S OCTOBER! Best month ever! Pumpkin everything! All the TV shows! My work schedule makes it almost impossible for me to catch everything while it airs because I’ve been trying to exercise more. But it’s all a work a progress! 🙂 But for now I’m talking about one of my favorite mud masks, Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask To Rescue Problem Skin. And yes that is the whole entire name! It’s a super long name but I really like this mask! I got it from Sephora for $25 but you can also get it from the Origins webshop as well.

The Best Brush for Your Brows

HOW IS IT SEPTEMBER ALREADY

;______; you know you’re getting old when you start complaining about how quickly time is passing. haha.

ANYWAY

This brush has seriously changed my life. I bought it at an Etude House in Singapore last summer, where it was on sale for like THREE SING DOLLARS. I then spent months regretting the fact that I didn’t choose to clear out the store’s stock, and am now seriously considering grabbing another one for more than twice that (lol I say that like it’s a huge amount) on eBay.

Jurlique Lavender Silk Finishing Powder Review

Now that the weather is melting us down into human sludge so warm, my face produces all the oils 😐 I am forever on the lookout for a sunscreen that doesn’t basically liquefy my face, but in the meantime a good oil-control product is always welcome. You might remember the review I did last year on the Maybelline foundation (god those photos sucked i am sorry) that worked really well for me; I loved it until I dropped my bag, with the compact inside, ON A CARPETED FLOOR and half of it just crumbled to dust and misery and now I refuse to bring it outside.

Review: Macadamia Oil Shampoo & Conditioner

Heyyy! It’s been a while since I did a hair post. Honestly I’ve been working on a different post but it’s taking rather long for me to get the pictures that I need edited nicely soooo you are going to be hit with a not too picture heavy post here.

Macadamia Oil

I had purchased this while I was still working at Ricky’s, but the break down of the prices are  the Rejuvenating Shampoo is $21 and the Moisturizing Rinse (Conditioner) is $24.

Disclaimer: I purchased this with my own money & all opinions are my own.

Missha Waterproof Eyeliner Review

Ohh kay now it’s been a while since my last eyeliner review, Woe is Eyeliners. But now it’s time for another eyeliner review! This time it’s the Missha Super-Extreme Waterproof Eyeliner in black! This one retails for about $10 but I got it for $5 during the half off event last year. However Missha is selling it for $7 right now! So if you want to get it here. It’s lasted quite a while! But to be frank for a few months I haven’t exactly been wearing makeup in order to give my face some time to just relax back down and just less pimpley. This post has been a long time a-coming. However my first idea didn’t exactly pan out how I wanted so…. before I delay it for any longer here’s the review~~

Panda Café!

So here’s the story. While scrolling through my instagram list I noticed that one of the pictures was locationally-tagged at a place called Panda Café. Basically I thought of a friend who is absolutely obsessed with pandas. That and I needed to go there. I looked it up as in where it is and a bit of the reviews on yelp, otherwise I was really going in with no expectations what-so-ever. So I made plans with Jessica to go there on a Saturday.

The place is located in Elmhurst, which isn’t too far from Queens Center Mall. On this fine day I drove there with Jessica because we wanted to save on metrocard money and I said I’d drop her off at her boyfriend’s with her heavy laptop. Surprisingly parking wasn’t a nightmare to find despite it being Saturday and thus we parked and away we go~

Winter Days and Face Issues

Winter is coming!

😛 I have recently gotten really obsessed with Game of Thrones and the book series as well. I’ve been reading it almost everyday and maaaaan all the drama and action. Literally my heart cannot handle all this!

But let’s get on with what I am talking about today. Currently I’ve been going through several issues with my face skin. 😦 I’ve been breaking out rather badly on my left cheek and with a few more popping up on the other parts of my face as well. And currently I have a lot of product at home. Most of it being from the Murad Acne line, however I haven’t really been using them daily or anything. Maybe once in a while when I’m all “UGH WHY FACE WHYYY.”

But I think the main suspect is Peter Thomas Roth’s Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel.

Disclaimer: I didn’t purchase this product. I had received it as a free gift when attending a workshop that is related to my current job. (Beauty/Retail)
